Our family lives and ranches intergenerationally on “the home place”!Meet the ranch hands (family😊): Jason is our “Super Rancher” and works full-time at his dream job. Jason is a 1st generation rancher but farming and ranching are in his blood. He was raised in town but some of his favorite childhood memories are helping his beloved grandparents on their farm in Olathe, Colorado. Jason came to ranch life early when he started dating Theresa at 16 years old and was put right to work. After serving in the United States Marine Corps, Jason had a 15-year career working in the area of coal mines. He never stopped helping on the ranch and in 2008 he took over the ranch and hasn’t looked back. His passion for regenerative agriculture fuels him and he prides himself on the nourishing beef he raises. Theresa is our “Chief Ranch Hand” and is also proud to work at Delta Health (the local hospital and healthcare system) as an oncology nurse navigator. Theresa has been in love with the ranch since moving here as a kid and spent her youth roaming the land on horseback and bucking hay. She has an enduring commitment to fostering a connection to the land now and for future generations. Lexi, our daughter and “Ranch Manager”, has grown to adulthood and now lives off the ranch, working as a nurse. Having been raised on the ranch she always turns up at just the right time and is put to work immediately. Will, our son and “Baby Rancher”, is our devoted irrigator, cattle or pig wrangler, and budding ranch mechanic. Will is always jumping in to help with ranch work using skills we didn’t even know he had.
