We are excited to introduce you to “North Shore GOAT” @northshoregoat our goat dairy!  We have 100HERDSHAREmemberships to offer that will provide you with goat dairy products. More info soon…for now you can sample their delicious grass & organic grain fed pasteurized milk, kefir and chevre on TUESDAYS 12-6 at our weekly FARMSTANDand Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)pickup. Established in 2008 on the magical North Shore of Oahu, our now 30 acre organically managed parcel is home to plants as well as people- families in our longterm rentals, residential interns and visitors in our now month long rentals including our home across the street on Pipeline. We have on and off-grid living accommodations. We are specifically looking for minimum part-time (or full-time) GOAT MILKER by March or possibly as late as May when we will be having babies. This entails AM and PM milk shifts Fri,Sat,Sun,Mon. If candidate so desires, additional processing, cheese making, work etc. (see below) is available.*Spectrum of work— -RANCHING, we are looking for an animal lead, at minimum a committed milker, big picture includes a range of animal husbandry for the goats as well as expanding our chicken operations, assisting with horses and our sweet mini donkey-FARMING, we have a small CSA garden but have so much room to expand, skills desired include irrigation, tree work, nursery work, grafting, propagation, flowers and medicinals, orchard/ agrofestry establishment and management, composting, syntropic/ permaculture design-Property maintenance/ improvement, weedwhacking, mowing, tree trimming, tropical landscaping, earthwork, skidsteer and excavator-Handy(wo)man work, addressing/ troubleshooting usual repairs at numerous rentals, remodeling, deck repair, painting, basic plumbing/ electrical, understanding of solar systems both thermal and pv, carpentry/woodworking-Additional income opportunities on property include preparing healthy food for weekly CSA program members or events, offering tours, yoga or other classes, educational enrichment- music, art, movement, project based learning Not all skills required, we look forward to hearing what you are passionate about Sign up with your email address to receive news and updates.
