About

Schuler Farms is a small family farm in Caledonia, Michigan. We have practiced sustainable and organic farming methodssince 2004.  It is our belief that food should be local, diverse, fresh, safe, and accessible to all people . We’re always working to make our farm stronger and more sustainable. Join the effort by making a donation today! We grow a mix of vegetables and sell our produce at our on-site vegetable stand, at the Caledonia’s farmers market and through our community-supported agriculture (CSA) program. Ready to get your veggies? We love volunteers!Send us an emailto see how you can help! Make a secure donation to support Schuler Farms and the Caledonia farming community. Share Schuler Farms with your family and friends! Our mission is to provide fresh, healthy plant-based food to our neighbors and the local community.  We feel it is important to help educate the community about the valuable role we each play in preserving local farming traditions and supporting the growth of Michigan’s economy through eating fresh, local produce. CSA or Community Supported Agriculture honors a commitment between the farmer and the shareholders. The members pay the grower in advance for a weekly share of the harvest. The shareholder receives a crate of fresh, local, naturally grown produce from a source they know and trust. 1. Join the farm. Full share - $800/Half share - $550 Your spot is reserved when we receive your full payment. 2. Pick a time to pick up. Pick up is on Wednesday from 12-1 or 4:30-6 pm If you are going to need to change your time, let us know. It is important because we try to harvest for the number of people coming to pick up. 3. Come prepared. Bring a big bag, small bags, box, cooler, whatever you want to transport your veggies. 4. Read the board. The chalkboard will let you know how many or how much you get in your share. If you don’t like a vegetable, don’t take it, or give it to someone who does. 5. Take your veggies home and enjoy them!Try newrecipes. Experiment with the veggies you do not know much about.
