ROOTS MEMPHIS was founded in 2012 as an urban farm on a once-vacant half-acre lot in Whitehaven, Tennessee. They transformed the gravel lot into raised beds, a barn, composting, and a greenhouse, with a mission to produce an assorted variety of vegetables year-round and support a growing CSA.
