Pleasant Pastures Beef

Pleasant Pastures Beef is a small family farm in northwest Iowa. Our herd of cattle is predominately Angus. We work hard to raise them in a wholesome and more natural kind of way that improves the life of our cattle and produces a higher quality, healthy meat. We have a passion to improve our soil/plant/animal health. We raise our cattle in a more traditional way with calves grazing pasture with the Momma Cow during the summer. In the winter we feed grass, non-GMO alfalfa hay, non-GMO corn, non-GMO silage, and finish them on this ration with no drugs or antibiotics added to their feed or water. No hormone implants. No ethanol byproducts are fed to our cattle. They are fed grass their whole life! We continue to use more natural and even organic products and practices to care for our cattle. We have seen some great results with that, and hope you will be blessed by that, too. We think you will appreciate the quality and knowing where and how our beef is raised! We are pleased to offer you local, fresh, home-raised beef. As of this year, we are selling wholes, quarters, halves, and beef bundles.
