About Oak Holler Farm
We're a small family farm in Marshall, NC, dedicated to growing nutritious food using organic practices. Nick (farmer), Emily (community outreach), and our farm hands are building healthy, energetic soil to continue to improve our land for generations to come. We provide veggies to our communities in Madison County and Buncombe County through our CSA, farm stand, as well as wholesale to food hubs, other CSAs, and stores in the WNC region.
Our Story
When we started this farm in 2019 it was just Nick growing on less than 1 acre of space at the crest of what used to be old tobacco and hay fields. We bought this beautiful land to have a home place for our family, and grow nutritious food for ourselves and our friends. It did not start as a business, but our friends and acquaintances soon started asking to purchase boxes of veggies each week when we had abundance to share.
