Dave Creager- Founder of Neighbor Boy Green Thumb Extraordinaire People always ask me, “What’s Neighbor Boy?”  My answer is simple, “I’m Neighbor Boy.”  It is the culmination of a vision that started when I was still a child growing up in Minnesota.   My neighbors noted my ambition, and asked if I’d be interested in helping them with their yard work.  Soon, I was mowing their yards each week.  Word spread, and I found myself being asked to do small jobs for other neighbors, like shoveling snow and raking leaves.  Before long, I was known as the “neighbor boy” who enjoyed helping others. After graduating with a degree in business, I relocated to North Carolina.  In 1997 Neighbor Boy was born out of my love for being outdoors, my interest in the service industry, and my eye for design and detail. Val Stone Creager- Marketing Manager Jack of all Trades Having grown up in Raleigh, I've always appreciated the beautiful landscape and native plants that we are so lucky to have surrounding us.  But, with a background in psychology, education, photography and design, I never thought I'd wind up here.  A zest for new adventures brought me and Dave together, and we have teamed up to provide the best possible service and experiences for all of our clients and customers.
