About McComBees Apiaries

Raw, creamed, comb, and flavored local honey. Indiana-adapted, locally raised queens. Local, grown nucs from our own apiaries. Scheduled queen caging for brood breaks. Pure beeswax candles in several styles. Live colony removals and relocations. Our objective is to provide local, natural, and sustainable honey products while raising bees in an ethical and responsible way. Everything we sell—honey, nucs, and queens—is produced in our Northeast Indiana apiaries. We maintain high productivity with fewer colonies by prioritizing quality over quantity. We spend extensive time in the field monitoring progress, managing growth, and addressing issues before they escalate. Our practices are guided by hands-on experience and by the agricultural training of our founder, who holds a Purdue University degree in agriculture. This foundation allows us to implement effective management methods that keep our bees healthy and thriving. Our goal is to offer excellent customer service. We strive to make every transaction with Mc Com Bees Apiaries simple and convenient by offering multiple payment and delivery options. We enjoy meeting customers at markets and welcome your questions about beekeeping or our products. Beekeeping is our passion, and we appreciate your support.

Our Story

A New Standard in Beekeeping Nucs Spring/Summer Nuc Overwintered Nuc Why 4 Frame Nucs Queens Mated Queen Virgin Queen Queen Cell Queen Cage Passionate about Beekeeping When a colleague of my wife's offered his bees to me on short notice, my curiosity in having honeybees at my home became a reality. He was relocating and would be unable to keep them at his new address. Before I had a chance to consider the impact of my action, I was loading a colony of bees onto a trailer to transport them to my house. What began with a single bee colony and numerous hours spent reading books and watching YouTube videos quickly grew into a small business with multiple apiary locations producing an abundance of honey and bees. As an Indiana Grown member and Indiana Queen Breeder Association breeder, I am committed to the challenge of producing local honey and bees. It often creates more work and requires some hard decision-making, but I know the reward for maintaining healthy and thriving bees will be great local products that I can be proud to sell. ©2026by Mc Com Bees Apiaries LLC
