About LocalFolks Foods
In 2004,Steve and Anita Spencerfounded Local Folks Foods, inspired by the outgrowth of their innovative natural farming venture, Homestead Growers. Within a few years, they transitioned from using ingredients cultivated on their farm to partnering with farms and farm cooperatives across the greater Midwest region. This shift allowed them to focus on creating a diverse line of natural, wholesome foods, prioritizing simple, clean ingredients. Today, Steve and Anita continue to lead Local Folks Foods, driving its growth and ongoing evolution. We have grown on the principles of health, ecology, and care.
