We are a cattle ranch primarily raising Gelbvieh and Balancer cattle for breeding and butchering. We also have a small flock of sheep raised for the same reasons. The animals are under our care from birth to finish. The calves are raised on pasture until they are weaned. No creep feed is fed on pasture. They have mama's milk and grass. After weaning they are then fed a TMR (Total Mixed Ration) of primarily hay and then corn is gradually added in working them up to the finished state.
