Since our founding in 2013, our goals have stayed the same: tend the land through regenerative practices, feed our community nourishing food, and empower young farmers to pursue their own agricultural ventures. What started as a one-woman operation has become a crew of hardworking, dedicated farmers. We’d love to feed you!Join the CSAor visit our sister store,Red Dog Market, a hyper-local grocery started by Farmer Emma and her husband, Aaron. Caring for people means the land, water, air, and Wegrow with organic methods. Everything is chemical-free and grown with care for the land and your health. Weprioritize heirloom varietiesthat boast rich flavor, beauty and history. We never use chemically-treated or GMO seeds. Weimprove our soilwith cover crops and carefully selected organic fertilizers & amendments. Wenever spray herbicides. We manage weeds by hand and tractor, with biodegradable mulch, mindfully applied plastic mulch, crop rotation, and the use of cover crops. Drip irrigation and overhead sprinklersreduce water wasteand soil erosion. A diversity of crops and flowers attractsbeneficial pollinatorsand insects. We till only when necessary, and we use implements thatreduce soil degradation and compaction.
