About Honeymilk Homestead

Photo Credit — Ann Nash Photography 9 Ways to Get the Most from Your Raw Milk Sign up below to get your FREE guide, along with farm updates, tutorials, inspiration, recipes and more! Nourishing my family with Real Food. That’s what it’s all about. If you’re like me, you’re concerned about the chemicals and processes used to make cheap, modern “food” and how it’s affecting your health. You want quality, nutritious food for your growing family. Tasty food that’s easy to digest, supports gut health, and is safe to eat. So what’s our story? A farm girl became a wife and mother and decided the healthiest thing to do was to raise our own food. My husband has struggled with digestion and food sensitivities for many years. Because of this, I have to pay close attention to ingredient labels and cook almost everything from scratch. An important thing I have learned is that quality does matter. Especially when you’re trying to figure out food sensitivities. It’s more than knowing what’s on the label. It’s about knowing where the food comes from and how it’s raised and processed. It’s about getting back to the basics where our food not only nourishes us but also heals us. Having grown up on a dairy farm, eating homegrown food and drinking raw milk, I learned the value of good food and the work it takes to produce it. We hope to teach these values, life lessons, and experiences to our children. We named our farm Honeymilk Homestead not only because we raise honeybees and milk cows but also in reference to the Scripture about God blessing His people with the promised land. “A land flowing with milk and honey.” It’s a reminder of God’s providence, blessing us with this opportunity to care for His marvelous creation. We will praise Him and give Him glory in it. We’d like to invite you to be a part of our farm family and learn more about Real Food. Sign up to our email list below. Thank you!
