About Foundry Farms

At Foundry Farms, our name tells our story. Afoundryis a place of heat, grit, and transformation—a place where raw materials are forged into something strong and lasting. That word speaks to more than just metal; it reflects what we believe about life, farming, and community. We’re not just raising poultry or growing greens—we’re shaping a legacy. Pairingfoundrywithfarmsreflects our commitment to working the land with purpose. This isn’t a place of mass production. It’s a place where faith, family, and hard work come together to produce food you can trust—nourishing both body and soul. Every harvest is intentional. Every thing we grow is a part of something bigger: a return to honest food, ethical practices, and a better way forward. Foundry Farms is where tradition meets transformation. Where roots run deep. And where what we build today is meant to last for generations. We are the Reid family - Joe, Megan, Piper, Paisley, Penny, & Posey. We live on a small homestead in Northern Alabama where we farm mini Jersey cattle, Cornish cross chickens, beautifully colored eggs, pork, and a large garden! We honestly never thought we would be farmers, but here we are - and we love it! When we’re not farming, Joe pastors our church and Megan homeschools our girls. It’s a wild life, but we absolutely love it! Thank you for joining us! We hope you feel at home here! We are the King family - the other half of Foundry Farms! Chance and Stephanie met and fell in love during our time at Auburn and later married. During Chance’s time in the Army, a dream took root to someday own a small farm and spend our days in the sunshine and raising our children in God’s creation. Now the dream has become a reality and we are so grateful!
