About Brentwood Farmers' Market

Championing the San Francisco Bay Area Local Food Movement Since 1988 The Pacific Coast Farmers’ Market Association (PCFMA) creates community-based food experiences throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. We are dedicated to supporting California family farms and fostering a healthy, sustainable local food system. "We envision a world abundant in fresh foods, where local farms are central to every community." "To support California farmers and communities by providing farmers’ markets in our diverse Bay Area neighborhoods." "We uphold Fairness and Consistency through open Communication. We act with Respect to serve and strengthen our thriving farmers' market Community." Fairness:Treating all stakeholders equitably and without bias through just and impartial policies. Consistency:Applying all policies and rules uniformly across markets to provide long-term reliability for our producers. Communication:A commitment to active, clear, and proactive information exchange with all partners. Respect:Genuinely valuing the time, perspectives, and contributions of every individual. Community:Fostering teamwork and positive connections to create diverse, safe, and welcoming market environments. Experience our mission in action at every market, where local farms gather to share the bounty of their harvest. PCFMA organizes more than 30 weekly certified farmers' markets across six Bay Area counties, providing a vital economic outlet for family farms and a vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere for our neighbors. When you shop at a PCFMA market, you are buying directly from the people who grow your food. Most of the fruits and vegetables you’ll find were harvested within 48 hours, ensuring you get the very best of California agriculture at its peak freshness. PCFMA is a tax-exempt 501(c)5nonprofit organization. Kathy Topete| Topete FarmsBoard Chair Vidal M.
