Brenckle's Organic Farm and Greenhouse

Brenckle’s organic farm and greenhouse has been serving Cranberry and New Sewickley Townships, as well as, the whole Beaver Valley since 1949. Chances are you've seen our products before, whether you knew it or not. Our flowers have adorned many churches' altars and gardens, decorated Cranberry Highlands Golf Course, and you may have tasted our produce through the years at various local markets and chain super markets. Today Brenckle's Organic Farm and Greenhouse is a family farm focused on its commitment to its local community and excited about expanding our area of service, we have been certified organic for over ten years and are committed to responsibly managing our land with sustainable practices in mind and creating micro-ecosystems on our farm. Tom Brenckle (Owner/Operator) Hello I'm here to tell you about Tom Brenckle. I am one of his three sons. There are seven children total in the Brenckle family. We are all blessed to have been raised by such good and honest people as our parents, Tom and Mary Ann. Tom has been farming all of his life. As a matter of fact, he is a fourth generation farmer. His reputation as a great grower is well known. He prides himself in the quality and variety of his product. The typical five colors of tulips is not good enough for him. He grows twenty varieties. He is also always willing to take a chance on a new variety of sweet corn to assure his customers are getting the best product available. I have learned many great lessons from him. Many about farming and feeding my family and our neighbors, but many more about the real important things you can learn from watching a man stand with his face perpetually in the wind and never once waiver from the honorable values that his friends and neighbors have come to count on. Farmers are in the business of reaping what they sow. If you would ask him about his greatest bounty you would hear a long story about his grandchildren. - Chris Brenckle Reminder to always have fun
