About Barnison Farm
Barnison was founded in 2004 by husband and wife team Jeremy and Alison Barnwell, originally as an East Austin chicken farm. Barnison Farm provided restaurants and farmer’s markets with locally raised chicken. Alison’s teaching career and Jeremy’s passion for providing high quality, locally sourced food inspired them to expand Barnison into a full service caterer with a daily school lunch program at one of Austin’s premiere and world renowned private schools. Since then, the business has grown to include corporate catering, on and off site event catering for parties of any size, as well as school nutrition programs, all while remaining focused on using locally sourced and seasonal products in everything we do. Barnison designs each project around the specific needs of our clientele while maintaining the integrity that makes us unique. We are proud to have direct relationships with area farms, ranchers, and producers so that we can continue to serve only all natural ingredients and source as locally as possible!
