About Allandale Farm

Our Land. Our Community. Our History. Our growing practices are deeply linked to our role as land stewards and neighbors. We are committed to agricultural practices that prioritize the long term health of our land, employees and customers. We rely on methods that improve soil health to combat weeds, disease, and pests. We use cover crop and we rotate crops. We use natural barriers, beneficial plants and insects, and disease resistant plant varieties. Herbicides and conventional pesticides? Nope. Not in our fieldsorour greenhouses. We offer a wide selection of fresh vegetables grown right outside our farmstand’s door. Tomatoes to lettuce, kale to sweet potatoes, hot peppers to melons and more are harvested and washed every morning, giving our produce a freshness you can only find at your local farm. That freshness provides for more flavor, higher nutritional value, and prolonged shelf life at your home. Though we’ve chosen to forgo organic certification, we grow all our own produce using sustainable and traditional organic farming practices. Always have, always will. If you are interested in purchasing our produce wholesale, please reach out to our Farm Manager, Mike, at wholesale@allandalefarm.com for more information. We’re honored to have been awarded both Best of Boston Home and Best of Boston’s 2023 Best Garden Center! 259 Allandale Road Brookline, MA 02467
